about.

Isaiah Waters is a graphic designer who builds brand identities for small businesses, churches, and creative founders. His work centers on logo design and visual identity, the kind of foundational decisions that shape how a brand shows up everywhere else. He's a big romantic about good ideas, and he likes working with people who have one they can't stop talking about.

"I've always had a creative leaning— I think everyone does, but that's a conversation for another time. I knew that "when I grew up", I wanted my work to feed my creative side; I just had to figure out how. I had lots of ideas: comic book illustrator, studio painter, architect, but none of them felt quite right at the ripe age of thirteen. In high school yearbook, I started learning Adobe Photoshop for the first time and I fell in love with it. I found that I enjoyed the precision and consistency I was able to create within the computer program, and this also opened a whole new world of art for me. From that point on, I decided that I wanted to be a graphic designer. I bought books and watched videos about design, and when the time came to go to college, I knew what I wanted to do. The best part is, and I can say this honestly— I love design now more than I ever have. I'm not in this for the money. I want to be a graphic designer because I love it, and if I can make money doing it, that's amazing."

what i believe about good brand work.

Design created with intention and a clear vision almost always lasts. There are plenty of designers out there who can make excellent graphics, but if the graphics are not in line with the core tenets of the brand, you'll waste time and money rebuilding and refining your image down the road. I believe strongly in discovering and polishing a brand image as much as possible before creating a visual manifestation of it. Once the desired brand image is decided on, it becomes the anchor for anything created for the brand. Much like a good essay, the vision for the brand is the thesis statement. Everything should be held up against the brand image and evaluated before going out into the world. To me, this is the difference between good design and a great brand.

i'm not a brand strategist. i'm a designer with a good eye and an opinion.

I'm not a brand strategist. I'm a designer with a good eye and an opinion. When I work with a client over time, I get to see how the brand actually lives, what's working, what's not, where it needs to grow next. That's the part I love. Not handing over a logo and disappearing. I will stay close enough that I can help make sure your next decision moves your project forward.

brands change. the places they live change faster.

Brands change. The places they live change faster. Five years ago no one needed a brand for TikTok. Two years ago no one was thinking about how their logo looks in AI search results. I pay attention to where brands are going next so my clients aren't a step behind.

I'm a born-and-raised Pensacola boy. It's my hometown. I love the city, and I love the people here. Working alongside them to build something close to home is one of my favorite things, but I am also 100% down to work with anyone who has an idea they're excited about, regardless of distance.
